OhMyGodEverythingAllAtOnce!!!!

You might have noticed that there were no new blog posts from me this week. I have a reason. No, seriously, it's a really good reason this time. I won't go into it now, but I got some cool news, then some more cool news, then some sad news, then some terrifying news, and then there was a flurry of activity and pressure and anxiety and I almost exploded and now we're here. I can't go into details about my week just yet, because I don't know how to end the story yet. But let's just say a whole lotta shit happened all at once. And I don't like that.

So to sum up:
I will get back to normal blogging next week. Also, I may have some very exciting news, or I may have some crippling soul-crushing news. We have to wait and see. Now I'm off to gorge myself on freezer pizza and drink heavily.

Friday Favorites: Slowly Being Driven Insane

I sit here trying to think of something clever to say, but it's difficult. Mostly because I'm fighting off a cold and because my neighbors downstairs are truly in love with their surround sound, especially the bass part. It's really hard to think at all, yet alone be funny, when all you can hear is BUMPH BUMPH BUMPH BA DA BUMPH BUMPH BA DA BUMPH all fucking day. It is so loud, mind you, that it shakes my floor, my desk, my chair, and thus my butt. It is unpleasant to say the least. This is EVERY DAMN DAY, mind you, from about 10am to 9pm. Every day. I think I am literally slowly going insane.

Tis the start of a new calendar year! Hopefully with that new year comes success, happiness, hope, and joy. As I stare at my new Doctor Who calendar that Santa brought me, I wonder what the year has in store for me. I no longer make resolutions because they usual turn into me putting too much pressure on myself to "improv" whatever facet of my life I'm feeling most shitty about, and then when I stumble, I view it as failure and then I implode.
