So after a hiatus from blogging, I felt an update was in order for those of you who still read my stuff regularly.
I've been writing a lot, just not blogging. I'm working on a novel. I almost hesitate to share that because it's so rough right now and I think people who talk about working on their novel all the time sound pretentious, but it's what I've been doing in my absence from GoGG.
Boyfriend and I have also formed a production company with 2 of our friends. We're planning on making YouTube content exclusively. So I'm also writing furiously for our premiere video(s) which are all still in the "drawing board" stage of things, but I'm excited and hopeful.
Writing is hard. Anyone who tells you otherwise is a liar...or sold there soul for a muse or something. I like writing. I like it a lot. I'm trying to write a parody song for our new channel, and it is hard! But I love it. And I hate it. Writing is amazing. Whatever else is happening around me, writing seems to make life tolerable. I've done a lot soul-searching recently and I've discovered that I have a need to create or be a part of a creative process. It's the only time I ever feel like I truly "belong" in life, the only time I feel like I deserve to exist is when I create. The only thing that holds a candle to creating for me is gaming.
I've discovered that I enjoy Twitch. I can create a video AND game at the same time. It's the best.
